THE PROCESS OF A WEBSITE IS REASONABLY STRAIGHT FORWARD, IF YOU FOLLOW THESE STEPS.
  1. Workout why you want or need a website.
    This will help when finding/sourcing relevant content.

  2. Identify KEYWORDS for your website.
    These KEYWORDS will be used in the body text of the website and behind images to obtain the highest possible search engine rank.

  3. Find a domain name that promotes your business or organisation.
    This is an important part of your website's search engine rank, Jarrod will help you choose the correct domain to suit your needs.

  4. Its time to start gathering all required, relevant, text and images, refer back to step 1
    First thing to do, separate your business into sections based on relevance of what you want your customers to learn about your business from viewing your website, these sections will become WEB PAGES, these WEB PAGES get structured to make up your WEBSITE. Once you've worked out the areas you want your customers to know about your business, its time to start filling those WEB PAGES with relevant data and images. Please be aware that all text should include as many KEYWORDS as possible, images can also help with your search engine rank. but you dont want to overload your website with images.
    1 picture for every 150-200 words is a good benchmark to work off.

  5. Provide all the relevant content and images in digital format to Jarrod, so he can begin designing your site.
    Unfortunately with jarrod's disabilities, he is a slow typer. If all text content is given to him in a WORD document, he can copy and paste it into the website, making construction time quicker. Please do not insert images into the WORD document, they should be attached to the email along with the WORD document. Images should be in a high resolution state when Jarrod receives them.

  6. Construction process begins.
    Total time of completion is going to vary, depending on what functionality you choose to have and how in depth you want your WEBSITE to be.

It helps make the site designing phase go quicker, if you kind of know what your after in terms of design/style/looks. The best way to do this is, use Google to find websites that you like the look of. Jarrod can then take the best parts of all websites you've found, combine them together using YOUR BUSINESS LOGO AND COLOURS to create a site that you will hopefully LOVE to have associated with your BUSINESS/ORGANISATION. Once we have your WEBSITE design worked out, Jarrod can then start inserting all of your content into the templates.
